What is an Online Payment, and what is an Offline payment

If you are a Buyer and you made a purchase with an Online payment, you are paying the money to Oziway Payment Services. The Seller will receive the money after they deliver the Product to you. If you are buying an Item with an Offline payment method, then the Seller will expect that you pay them outside the Oziway system (like a bank transfer, cash on delivery or other methods). The Seller will tell you how they want to receive the money, and when (before or after delivery). We have also made available a way for users to transfer money between themselves using the Oziway Wallet, so the Seller might also ask you to make the payment directly to their Oziway Wallet

 

How to pay for an order

If you are a Buyer and you made a purchase with an Online payment, you will need to pay for it. Login to your Dashboard, and click on My Orders. Next click on the order which you would like to pay for. You will see the possible payment methods, choose the preferred payment method and pay for the order. You will be redirected to the chosen payment method gateway (website)

 

Who Delivers the purchased Products to you

The Seller delivers the items to you. The contact details to the Seller are on the item card [Seller Details], you can also write to the Seller using the Messenger app which has a built in translation functionality, this will make things easier even is the Seller speaks a different language

 

Why can I not pay for some items online

You can not pay for an item online, because the Seller has chosen to sell you an item after receiving payment directly from you by an offline payment method, maybe cash or bank transfer. If you would like to pay for the item to us, please tell the Seller to add the item with an online payment method. He should enter the product again with an online payment method or he should change the existing item to online payment. Additionally, you can choose to send the money to the Seller using the Wallet module, in which case the Seller also receives the funds quickly online

 

How much does it cost to make a payment in the Oziway system?

Just like with Payouts, we also need to cover the costs of Payins (Payments to us, you making a payment to the Oziway system). For this, we need to charge an administration fee of 5% of the amount being paid.
The paid amount will be increased by the administration fee. We need this fee to pay for costs of payment gateways or banks that charge us this fee

Is Oziway a safe marketplace

As with all internet ecommerce marketplaces, you should taker precaution who you send money to. Try to deal with Sellers who have the best reputation
To increase the chance of positive Buyer experience, we have introduced 3 tools to help the Buyers
1) the Customer Protection Programme, where we release the funds to the Seller after we know, that you received your item. 2) the Verified Seller Programme where a Seller to be verified and receive the Verified Seller icon, needs to send us all formal documents and photos of the factory, to prove that they are running a legitimate business 3) the Promotes promote those Sellers which they know are safe (they have promoted these Sellers before and are like a trusted third party. This is unique in Oziway

 

What is the Customer Protection Programme

You can buy any product or service listed with Oziway, and pay directly to the Seller using a Bank transfer or other means. However, if you would like to pay Online for these products, you can do so, and in such cases, we will release the funds to the Seller after we are sure that You received the Product. Even though the items will be delivered by the Seller of the product, we will need to know from you when You receive the item. If you do not tell us about the status of the delivery, we will assume that you received it after 7 days of estimated delivery time. Tell us if there is a problem with the delivery.
To increase the chance of positive Buyer experience, we also advise Sellers to join our Verified Seller programme. For a Seller to be verified, they need to send us all formal documents and photos of the factory, to prove that they are running a legitimate business

 

Promoters

How Much Can a Promoter Earn with Oziway

It depends on two things:

- How well you promote your website or the items
- How well you grow your organization

But from our experience, we feel confident that Promoters that follow our steps should earn 50 USD per month or more, just on the small retail transactions. And then there are the large wholesale deals which are worth a lot more money

In Oziway, you can receive an Active Commission and a Passive Commission. Grow your organization, invite others, and when you hear that someone needs an Item which is available on Oziway, invite them to buy the item from Your website

By promoting your website and the Items published there, you will earn an Active Commission from the sales. By growing your organization (so that others earn an Active Commission), you will earn a Passive Commission

Grow your organization by inviting others to register from your website, and tell your friends in your organization to grow their organizations also. This will be the basis for Passive Commissions for you and your friends

How can I start promoting

To start Promoting, you first have to register at Oziway (its free), and then you need to setup your free website which will feature products and categories chosen by you for promotion on the internet. When someone decides to make a purchase on your website, you dont need to send or sell anything - the Seller of the purchased product does that and once we receive the commission from the Seller, you receive your part of the commission (a part of that commission is also paid to the recruiter that invited you to the Oziway community

Does it cost anything to be a promoter on Oziway

Oziway is free for Promoters. Being a part of our Promoter community does not cost you anything. You are not obligated to do anything. You can earn additional money by promoting offers listed by Sellers on Oziway. If someone buys something from your website (this product or service is delivered by the Seller and we receive a commission from the Seller), then you receive a large part of that commission. The person that invited you to Oziway will also receive a small part of that commission, just like you will receive a small part of the commission of each Promoter that you invited into Oziway. So keep promoting and keep inviting!

 

How to setup my website for Promoting

When you register in Oziway, you first need to setup your account. Fill in your telephone number, email address, marketing messages and choose your product categories, and also choose your country of choice (where you intend to promote the store). Its best to use the same email address that you use in PayPal, or mobile phone that you use in WeChat (China), as these are the accounts that we will be making payouts to. You receive from us your own “internet store” address full of products within the categories that you have chosen. You can change your profile and choose different categories at any time

All the products within the categories that you have chosen, get automatically added to your store. If you have configured your store to include entire categories of items, if new items are added to those categories, they will appear in your store automatically. If you have chosen specific items to appear in your store, new items will not appear automatically

Who Delivers the Products to the Buyer

The Seller delivers the items - don’t worry, you the Promoter don’t have to send any item to anyone. All you do is promote your Oziway link. It is the Seller that sends the item, collects the money and pays the commission to Oziway so that we can pay you

 

Active Commission

Active Commission is what you earn when your promotion directly results in a transaction being made. You told someone about your website and that person bought the item. As soon as we receive the commission from the Seller, we pay most of it to you. Your commission is then called 1st level commission. A small part of that commission will stay in Oziway and also we will pay the Promoter that invited you to Oziway

 

Passive Commission

Passive Commission is what you earn when you invite a friend to be a Promoter in Oziway, and that friend promotes their own store or product which results in a transaction being made. The friend told someone about their website and that someone bought the item. As soon as we receive the commission from the Seller, we pay most of the commission to your friend, but you also receive a small part of the commission for growing your organization. Your commission is then called the 2nd level commission and your friends commission is called the 1st level commission. A small part of the commission will stay in Oziway

In Oziway there are no boundaries. Even though it makes more sense to Promote the products in your home country to your friends, you can recruit Promoters around the world. And the more promoters are in your organization, the better chance you will have of receiving attractive passive income

How you receive your commission

All commissions are calculated from USD and then paid out to your Bank account or PayPal or WeChat or even Western Union in your national currency

After a completed transaction that you promoted (or a friend that you invited to Oziway), the commission amount (Active or Passive) is added to your balance in the Oziway Wallet. To receive your money, you have to make a Withdrawal Request from the Oziway Wallet. Tell us if you want us to pay you to a Bank Account, or Wechat, or PayPal or a Western Union office

 

Do any forms or documents need to be filled out before the payout

We require an online form to be filled out (Tax Verification Form) so that we know where you are from (in which country you pay taxes) This form is available on your Business Dashboard. We pass that information to Oziway Payment Services (as defined in the Agreement) for Payment processing

Does it cost anything to be a seller on Oziway

Adding items to Oziway is free. Being a part of our Seller community does not cost you anything if we don’t sell anything for you. You can list all your products and if you dont sell anything on Oziway, you will not pay anything. The only payments that you will be obligated to pay, are the commissions that you declare to pay for the sale of each one of your Items. You tell us how much you can pay from the sale that we make for you

 

What is a Verified Seller and how to become verified

A verified seller is a Seller which has been verified by Oziway as being a safe and trustworthy business partner. Being verified means that you can add products with an Online Payment easier, and people will trust you as a Seller. Once you become a verified seller, you receive the Verified Seller badge on your item page, and you are able to add items with an Online Payment without the need for verification of the items. To become a Verified Seller, we need to know who you are, we will need your company documents and possibly proof that you have an office or a factory.

How to make my item available in many countries

To make your item available in many countries, you need to add is as a Global Offer. A global offer is an item which is able to be delivered by the You to a Buyer anywhere in the world. It is entered on Oziway as a Global Offer and then it becomes available on all Oziway pages, in all different currencies (calculated automatically) and translated automatically into many languages. If the item is a physical product, then it will have to be sent to the Buyer in another country. If the item is a digital one (to be downloaded), then obviously it is not shipped, and it becomes available immediately after purchase

 

How can I receive a payment for my items that are sold with an Online payment

Go to the electronic Wallet module and click the Withdrawal button. Enter your account details and amount and wait for the payment. Payments are made once per month. Obviously you can not withdraw more than what is in your Wallet

 

When adding an item, what does [days needed for verification] mean

It means that the you, the Seller, need this many days to finalize the transaction. You need to receive money from the Buyer (or information from Oziway that the Buyer paid online), and send the item

 

When adding an item, what does [Approximate Delivery Time] mean

This is how much time the You the Seller need to deliver the item, the delivery time will be approximate because it depends on where the product is going to be sent. This information is displayed on the item page

 

When adding an item with an online payment, do my products need to be verified ?

If you are a Verified Seller, the items are not verified, they become published immediately after you add them. If you are not a Verified Seller, they need to be verified (on the screen) by Oziway staff to make sure that they comply with the Terms and Conditions of our platform

 

When adding an item why does Oziway ask me to enter the price in USD

The USD price needs to be used if the item is available for delivery in many countries, because from that USD price we automatically calculate all the other currencies, using daily updates by xe.com

 

How can I add items which my factory exports

We have added the possibility to publish items available in wholesale quantities. These are added without specific prices, just a price range. You can post a minimum order quantity and a price range, and then when a Buyer is interested, you can negotiate the conditions of the transaction using the Oziway Messenger system which has a translation functionality which is helpful when the Seller and Buyer speak different languages. How To Sell Products

If you want to offer a product or service, go to the Oziway page in your country (or the global Oziway.com page) and login to your Business Dashboard. There you will find an option to [Add an Item]. Adding an item is FREE. It does not cost you anything to add the item to our database. All that you need is to specify the % commission that you will pay to Oziway after your item is promoted and a Buyer pays for it. We need this payment so that we can pay the Promoters. You only pay the % commission once you receive the payment from the customer and deliver the item to the customer

 

How do You get paid for physical products that you need to deliver

If you added the item with an offline payment, its easy – the Buyer has to pay you directly (by bank transfer, PayPal, WeChat, transfer within the Oziway Wallet or even by cash). You choose how to receive the money. If you added the product with an online payment, the Buyer paid to Oziway and Oziway transferred the funds to your Oziway Wallet (minus the commission). Once you have Completed the transaction, the money becomes available and you can make a Withdrawal Request

 

How Do You know who to deliver physical products or services to

Login to your Business Dashboard available on Oziway

There you will find a List of Pending Transactions – transactions that need to be fulfilled. When you open a transaction, you see all details, who bought what, and whether it was paid (if it was an online payment item). You can start a conversation with the customer to make delivery arrangements or discuss any other aspect of the transaction. Our Messenger system automatically translates the conversation so even if the Buyer talks in a different language, you will not have problems communicating

 

How Do You tell us that a transaction did not finalize, so that you don’t pay any Commission

Login to your Business Dashboard available on Oziway

There you will find a List of Pending Transactions – transactions that need to be accepted (OK) or rejected (FAIL). You have a number of days (that you entered when you posted a product) to verify that a transaction took place, therefore to Accept (OK) the transaction, or to Reject (FAIL). You reject the transaction if it did not finalize. You will not have to pay commission for rejected transactions

 

How do you pay the commission for the sale of physical products

Login to your Business Dashboard available on Oziway

There you will find a List of Transactions that need to be accepted (OK - delivered) or rejected (FAIL - not delivered). If an Item was added with an online payment, we automatically took our commission once the Buyer paid for the item. If the item was added with an offline payment, and you complete the transaction (buyer paid, you delivered), you have 7 days to pay the commission to Oziway using one of the available payment methods. You will receive a tax receipt for marketing services after making the payment (please allow several working days for the tax receipt to be delivered to you)

Now in more detail, when you add items to Oziway, you enter how many days you need to finalize the transaction (including delivery). You set the status of each transaction, before the declared number of days has passed (if we receive no feedback, Oziway automatically sets the transaction to Success and you are required to pay the commission)

1 of 3 things now will happen:

- If the transaction was not finalized (Customer did not pay, no delivery took place), then set the status to Rejected (FAIL) and enter a description – what happened, why the transaction did not finalize. You will not be required to pay any commission
- If the transaction was set to Success (OK) automatically, but it did not actually take place (you forgot to reject the transaction), contact us and let us know what happened, using the contact form or chat. We will try to solve the problem
- If the transaction was finalized and its status set to Accepted (OK, automatically or by you), you have 7 days to make the payment (you will receive a business receipt for the payment). Please do not be late with the payment because after 7 days, if no payment is made, your products are automatically disabled

 

How do you get paid for digital/downloadable products

When you add a Digital (Downloadable) product, you set a price in USD. Automatically this product will get published in all our country websites, and its price will be automatically converted to all currencies in those stores (Australian Dollar, Chinese Yuan, Euro etc). When a Buyer buys, Your Balance will automatically be increased, you can then send a Withdrawal Request and we will pay to the account chosen by you. Please see above How we send the Payouts

How to withdraw money from your Oziway Wallet

To withdraw money you have to login to your account on Oziway and then from the Promoter menu, click on Wallet
In the Wallet program, click on Withdraw
Then, enter the amount to withdraw, choose the method of payment (bank account, PayPal, WeChat or Western Union), and enter the account details
If you want to withdraw to a bank account, its important the account number is in an IBAN format (with the 2 letter country code in the beginning of the number)
If you are not sure how to fill out the withdrawal form, contact us using the Chat function, or the Messaging module to the Administrator

 

How to withdraw money to a different bank account

If you want to receive a payout to a different email address (in Paypal) or a different mobile number (in WeChat) then the one which is registered with us, then on the Payout Request Form you can enter this data in the comments field. Please note that such payout requests might take longer to be fulfilled, since we have to verify the data

 

How long does it take for Oziway to pay me the money

It depends on how the payment is to be made. With bank transfers, this takes from 3 to 5 days. With PayPal it should take less. With WeChat it also is pretty quick. We need to verify all payments before sending the request to the bank. Please remember that we make payments once per month at the end of the calendar month. Payment requests should be made 7 days before the end of the money, for us to send them in that month

 

Do you take taxes from my withdrawal request

We don’t need any contract with you in order to pay you out. We also do not decrease your payout to pay taxes. If you are an Australian resident then we will need this information from you including your ABN (Australian Business Number) or TFN (Tax File Number). If you are a resident of any other country then we will need to know this. This is all done during your first withdrawal request (we need to verify your tax residency – in which country you pay taxes). This will not last more than several days. You will need to pay taxes in your country and you can use the tax reports on your business dashboard to fill out your own tax forms. We will not help you here

 

How much does it cost to get the withdrawal request paid out

We generally need to take 5% from the payout, this is the administration fee. We have to pay for the external payment company, like Transferwise.com for example for bank transfers. For Western Union payouts, the cost is 10%. Every time you request a withdrawal and choose a Payment method, you will see the cost of the operation

Does Oziway Deduct Any Tax From Payouts

There are 2 kinds of taxes that are payable. An income tax as a Seller when you sell an item, and an Income tax for the Promoter when you earn a commission. As a Seller, you are obligated to issue a sales receipt to the Buyer for your transaction, this has nothing to do with Oziway. As a Promoter, you are obligated to pay taxes on your earnings. In both cases you should pay taxes and other appropriate levies in your own country. We do not inform your country tax office about your earnings. This is your obligation. By using this service, you take the responsibility of reporting your own earnings to Your authorities. For this, we have made available a Tax Report feature for you to see all earnings and payouts for the year
